But the recession exhausted all my capital. A 10 year search for work has proved <html:a href="tli/chap04/chap04.html">fruitless</html:a>. Thus relegated to a bare existence on this reprehensible pittance called <html:a href="tli/chap01/welfare.html">welfare</html:a>, I decided to turn my analytical skills to writing a book about the society and economic system under which I live.
